Worship & Media Ministries
Description:
Serving the church with music and media help during our Sunday services
Time and Place:
We meet from 6pm to 7:30PM every Wednesday for our weekly rehearsal and on Sunday mornings from 7AM to about 11AM for rehearsal and helping with media and worship for both services. If you are in a role such as a projectionist, you will stay longer than 11AM and stay until the end of the second service.
Requirements:
• Bringing God your best in your character, integrity, and skill (this just goes for life, I think) 🙂
• Showing up on time to the weekly rehearsals, services, and/or special events
• Dressing in pants (not shorts) for men and women and in a longer dress or skirt (for women) – overall, please dress modestly and in a way that won’t be distracting since we’re on stage, under lights, etc.
• Taking care of your instrument and your area (please keep things clean)
• Being teachable and coachable; having a great attitude
• Trying out or auditioning with Joe Choi (worship pastor) to see how you can be scheduled on the teams or receive training to be scheduled later on
Practical Things:
• Being able to ascend and descend stairs (or ramp) to get onto the platform
• Sitting or standing during different moments of the worship service (accommodations can be made if you have any physical limitations with this)
• Using in-ear (ear bud headphones) monitors (accommodations can be made for those who are harder of hearing)
